Puppet Camp is a bi-annual community oriented gathering of Puppet users and developers. Many attendees regard it as one of the most valuable and fun conferences they have attended. You’ll have the opportunity to network with a diverse group of Puppet users, benefit from insightful lectures delivered by prominent community members, and be able to share experiences and discuss potential implementations of Puppet during our attendee generated breakout sessions. Whether you are just beginning with Puppet or whether you are a Puppet Master, what you get from Puppet Camp is an amalgam of opportunity, information, and of course, some cool swag.

This year we'll be offering some structured talks in the afternoon in addition to an unconference and we are working toward providing code-sprint rooms that last later into the night.

Presenters Tickets:

Breakout  - Breakout room presenters should be ready to present on a general topic that draws on their experience as a Puppet user. Presenters will be responsible for delivering a 20 minute talk and facilitating conversation for an additional 20 minutes after their talk. Presenters should come with slides and any presentation materials ready in advance (projector, screen, flip charts are provided). Suitable topics might include: Beginner tips, deployment strategies, Mac or Windows support & troubleshooting; creating custom modules, facts, types, and providers;  using Puppet to meet ITIL or CMDB.  We are also looking for 2 people to host our hack-a-thon/bug fix room. Hosts would be responsible for being in the room for an afternoon or evening, keeping track of the progress made, and helping attendees when applicable.

Main Stage Presenters - Main stage presenters will receive a 45 minute speaking slot for their presentation and questions. After registering please submit your brief & bio to jose@puppetlabs.com. Be sure to explain the topic of your presentation, the problem you are hoping to shed light on or address, and what you expect an attendee to have learned or gained at the end of your talk. Presenters must come prepared for their talk with any materials they will need (microphone, projector, screen & presentation remote are provided) and are expected to have practiced their presentation before arriving at the conference.
